LVCT Health caters to the needs of adolescents and young people aged between 10 and 24 in Kenya. We provide them with reliable, credible, and high-quality information and access to services on Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH), Mental Health, Sexual Violence, and HIV in a non-judgmental manner.
We support the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC) to address the triple threat of New HIV infections, adolescent teenage pregnancies, and sexual violence threats.

“We literally save lives with the one2one telephone line,” says Lilian Kunyiha (29), who will never forget when an 18-year-old girl called in two years ago. “She was raped by her father at a young age and infected with HIV. She was now an orphan, and didn’t want to live anymore.” For three months, Lilian called the girl almost daily, convincing her to see a doctor and take up her medication. “After another three months of weekly telephone contact, the girl returned to school and eventually even passed her final exams,” says Lilian. “I am proud that I was able to help her get her life back on track.”

Girls in charge: How the Oky period tracker app empowers girls and helps to close the digital divide
The Oky app gives girls of all abilities the information they need to manage their periods and answers their questions about sexual and reproductive health. As an inclusive digital solution created ‘by girls, for girls,’ it offers an entry point to practice and improve digital skills.
